Becca Riley
Born in Gettysburg, PA · Lives in New Oxford, PA
Since a young age, Becca has always been involved in the arts. Raised by creative parents, she never questioned what her passion was. During High School she took as many art related classes as possible. In 2008 she went to Corning, NY to take a beginner’s class in glassblowing. Ever since, glass working has been one of many interests. When she moved on to college, she knew she wanted to focus in jewelry and metal smithing.
In 2010 she decided to attend Indiana University of Pennsylvania because of their large art program. While there, she not only continued to pursue jewelry making, but involved herself in ceramics and fibers as well. Since graduating college with a BA in Studio Art and a minor in Entrepreneurship for the arts, she has been involved in an art co-op.
Waldos and Company in Gettysburg has opened up a great opportunity for Becca. She had an art studio from the time Waldos started until she bought her house in 2022. She is currently focused in stained glass, jewelry making and shibori. Becca is continually taking classes and broadening her horizons in the art world.
